We were blessed beyond words by
the “Down From His Glory” performances
last week in Branson.
It was like three hours of worship each night.
We absolutely loved it. All the performers
were outstanding and so was everything they
did. We attended the first three shows, but
unfortunately for us, we had to be back home
before the Saturday performance. However,
we heard great things about Saturday from
our friends. We wish we could have been
there. We thank you and the many others
who labor long and hard to make the Branson
event happen. This was our third year to attend,
and it just gets better and better. Thank
you for your efforts and vision. We pray
the words of Psalm 115:15 on your behalf:
“May you be blessed ty the Lord, the Maker of
heaven and earth.” Huw Priday is a great addition
to the list of performers. Wow! What
a talent. When he was singing, not another
sound could be heard out in the audience. It
was as if people stopped breathing while he
was performing. As usual, we took advantage
of the opportunity to purchase CDs from the
various performers. We listened to Huw’s for
at least an hour during the drive home and
were blessed and uplifted all over again. We
have been praying that financial contributions
as a result of Branson 2007 will totally
cover the cost. We tried to do our part. It is
unbelievable to us that average contributions
are only $5 for something as great as “Down
From His Glory.” We are trusting God that
it will be much higher this time. We love
going to Branson in October, however, we
are already excited and looking forward to
Sept. 2008. That means it is only 11 months
until the next “Down From His Glory.”
Just a note to let you know we will be
lifting you up in prayer concerning the
plan changes in Branson. I do feel, like
everyone else, that we are left with no other
choice but to charge for the show, but I also
know that you alone will bear the burden
of explaining the changes and taking all the
heat for the ticket price. Thank you so much
for allowing us to be a part of this ministry.
I am blessed every time I get to sit and listen
to the praises being offered up to our Lord. I
thought Huw was a great addition to the show.
We enjoyed Branson again this
year. It was great! Hoping we can
make it again next year. We were
so surprised that the offerings weren’t better
with all the people there. Anyway, we are
digging a little deeper and hoping others will
too. It’s true that you can’t out give God.
Thank you so much for giving us the
opportunity to sing at “Down From
His Glory.” We all felt so honored
to be asked. We prayed God would use our
message in song to minister to the hearts of
those in the audience. This was our first time
attending “Down From His Glory,” and what
a tremendous blessing it was to our family.
The overwhelming positive response of the
audience to the children’s song was such an
encouragement to them. Numerous people
came up and talked with them expressing
what a blessing they had been. Thank you
for all the time and effort that went into this
amazing event. We look forward to attending
again next year.
