Caleb was 40 years old when he and Joshua stood tall in the minority report:
“We can.” The other eight men said, “We can't,” and Israel didn’t.
Twenty-four years ago, with the faithful 14-32 people meeting in the Palmer High School auditorium,
many stood to the side saying, “They can’t.” After all these years, many are still saying,
“They can’t without charging a fee.” Yet God continues to bless abundantly in
Colorado Springs, Branson, Mo. and in many foreign countries.
Caleb was 85 when he reported for duty again saying . . . “Give me that mountain which the Lord has
promised me.” J. Oswald Sanders says of Caleb: “His life moved steadily forward not to
termination, but to consummation. His last years were the best. So, kick off those soft slippers, get out
of the Lazy Boy rocker and get ready to head up the mountain.”
MEF is here for whatever duration God wants us. We cannot climb any mountain alone. By faith, we started
more than 24 years ago. By faith, we continue as you stand along side. The MEF staff and I will be
greatly encouraged as we hear from you with your love gift that will enable us to pay our past and current obligations.
Thank you for being a “we can.” With your help, we will climb the mountain of ‘05 for God.
