A group led by MEF board member and retired missionary
Will J. Roberts will be ministering in Tanzania
Aug. 25-Sept. 10. The team will be working with the
same two Southern Baptist missionaries with whom
they worked in 2006 in Morogoro, a city of 250,000 with
a strong Muslim influence, located four hours from the
capital of Dar es Salaam. Team members will be doing
door-to-door and street evangelism, outdoor rallies,
working with university students, speaking in schools
and holding seminars for pastors and church leaders.
Those making the trip will be Roberts and his wife,
Marie; Ralph Chapman, Benny and Crystal Locklar,
Dennis Treat, Ben Van Vacter, Tom Cooksey, Terry and
Hanah Beals, Kendall Hamilton family; Jerry Canon,
Marvin and Penny Savory and Pat Maloney.
