“Our New Home”

Dear Brother Jamall,

We write to express our gratitude to God and to you and the Ministry for the work you did out of Christian love to enable this family to have a shelter. We know that you know how it is to be with no shelter, but may be it is in part for you have not lived here in Africa where law is not so respected on Tenants by the Landlords-especially those who are non Christians. Our situation is very bad in Africa. That money you gave us we bought a plot, paid for bush-clearing, bought material i.e. cement, sand and stones. We also paid for the laying of foundations and the money ran out. It is not a foundation level now; we have managed to build the walls.
This shows that you started a good work. The Bible says “that He which hath begun a good work in you will perform (perfect) it until the day of Jesus Christ” (Phil 1:6). It is for this reason that we write to give thanks both to God our Father and to you. Beloved, we are at roof level with our building today. The work is still enormous. We need timber and roofing sheets, door frames/doors, window frames/panes etc. this we thought we can share with you a and pray for us that God our Father makes it possible for us to realize the needed $3,000.

This is really an up-hill for us but with God it is possible. So please pray with us.

The grace of Our Lord Jesus Christ be with you.

Yours in Christ, Titus and Navy Mandefu from Zambia.

$15,000 given to international missions during Bible Conference
Christian and Grace Matthews, Baroda, India; Daniel Thiuri, Nyrie, Kenya, and Talian Banda, Moses and Tunosye Mboya, Tanzania, our guests at this year’s Bible Conference, have returned to their places of ministry with generous honorariums to further the work they have been called to do.
To those of you who gave, and will give, to these deserving individuals, rest assured your gift will be spent wisely by these men and women. Part of what was given will go to the Daniel Mahimbo family in Tanzania. The Lord providing, MEF will continue its monthly gift of $100 to help sustain Daniel’s family.
As an African associate of Daniel said: “Though Daniel be dead, yet he speaketh.” And so it is.
